ATHE Level 4 Diploma in Business and Administrative ManagementÂ
  Unit Aims:
This unit explores the skills required for the effective management of people and how personal motivation links to effectiveness. It focuses on the skills managers should develop to solve problems, including disagreements and conflicts that occur in organizations. The unit also examines the role of continuous professional development (CPD). Learners who aspire to manage individuals in organizations will develop the fundamental knowledge and understanding necessary for such job roles.
Assessment guidance:
To achieve this unit, learners must achieve the learning outcomes and meet the standards specified by the assessment criteria for the unit. Additional assessment guidance is provided on the ATHE assignment brief. The unit encourages the learner to be reflective. Learners are required to consider their own skills set, levels of motivation and CPD requirements and to make evidenced judgements. To demonstrate achievement of standards learners should also draw on their own experiences within the workplace, in respect to time management and the management of problems, disagreements and conflict.
