Unit Aims:

This unit gives learners an understanding of the internet and how e-business can be used in organizations. Learners are introduced to the scope of e-business and the benefits it offers to an organization through the different business models. It develops a sufficient understanding of internet technology for learners to appreciate the potential, and the limitations, of using the internet for business. The features of a good website design are also covered.
