Unit aims:

To be an effective in leadership in health and social care requires a need to supervise and manage provision and lead and support others through workforce provision. This unit will develop student’s skills and knowledge in the role of a Manager and leader in developing strategies to provide quality provision in health and social care. This unit is suitable for those higher level managers who work with autonomy working in healthcare, social care, children’s services etc.

1. Understand the importance of own role in leading practice and provision in health and social care
1.1 Critically analyze methods and styles of leadership and their advantages and disadvantages in health and social care provision Details 00:00:00

2. Be able to develop strategies for leading and managing in an area of health or social care provision.
