Unit Aims:

To provide the learner with an understanding of the importance of information and knowledge to organisations and the key concepts of managing information and knowledge in a business setting. Learners will gain an understanding of sources of information and knowledge, how this is shared and ensuring its reliability and validity. In addition, there is opportunity to understand policies, procedures, legislation and best practice for managing information.
